A translation from the Chinese. The original story was in a highly-literate, nigh-classical style, and as flawless a four-pager as they come; I attempted to capture something of its elegance and feeling, though fumbling the grace of Freakjoy's language.

(Permission was obtained to translate and post this on Aesthe, but not here. But... argh. ^^;)

Hojo Akira is something of a cult doujinshika with the Tezuka x Fuji -shipping subset of the TeniPuri fannish contigent (analogous to Prin in Slam Dunk fandom, or Toshimi Arina to YuuYuu Hakusho. ...Sad how I can rattle this sort of thing off). This is a text translation of one of her longer standalone stories; I've added enough action markers that it can be read as a sort of "play", without having to own the doujinshi. Though I'd really rather appreciate it if no one went off and made scanlations from this. ^^;

The (complex, talky, a bit silly but absorbing) storyline explores the conflict arising from Tezuka and Fuji's divergent personalities and aspirations. Also, Eiji is the only one who has a lick of sense, which makes for a refreshing change.

Actually competent and from the Japanese version. Who'd've thunk? ^^; (Don't distribute these without my permission, or use them for scanlations. I mean it - the manga is licensed in North America. I'm just doing this so people buying the latest volumes/chapters won't have to picture-read. I am mild-mannered in general but you don't want to cross me on this point. >:E)

All Minami Ozaki translations are from the Chinese Tong Li edition: i.e. any Japanese you see I got from the anime. The linguistic equivalent of playing 'telephone', but better than no translation at all. ^^; In fact I own the Japanese volumes in question, and have been "getting around" to revamping these for years - files, content and all. There's MS Word generated shite HTML here, if you can believe it. Ouash.
